Akzo Nobel N.V. published the notice, including agenda, convening an extraordinary general meeting and an accompanying shareholders’ circular, regarding the proposed all-share merger of equals with Axalta Coating Systems Ltd.
The EGM is an important milestone in the process to create a premier global coatings company and will be held in Amsterdam at 15.00 CEST on August 5, 2026. The agenda and shareholders’ circular contain further details on the Merger and related matters.
Completion of the Merger remains conditional on the adoption of the relevant resolutions at the EGM. Subject to satisfaction of that and other conditions, completion of the Merger is anticipated to occur at the end of 2026 or beginning of 2027.
