Micro Powders will debut several new products at the 2024 American Coatings Show (booth #2254) with an emphasis on natural ingredients and PFAS-free technology.

MicroTex 580 is a 100% natural, biobased texturing additive for powder coatings that adds an aggressive, grainy texture to both TGIC and HAA chemistries. NatureMatte® C44 will also be highlighted as a 100% natural mattifier proven highly effective in powder coatings.

For architectural coatings, MicroMatte 1415 is a multi-functional, microplastic-free mattifier. This powder improves burnish resistance and enhances cleanability and soil release for matte, satin, and eggshell finishes, plus it’s surface treated for effortless incorporation into paint formulations. 

The latest additions to the nanocomposite waxes portfolio will also be on display. Superslip 6515AL-EZ is a highly effective PTFE replacement option that is surface treated for ease of use. MP-28AL is a value engineered composite of biodegradable synthetic wax and aluminum oxide that provides lubricity with rub, scratch, and abrasion resistance.
