AB Specialty Silicones completed a significant plant expansion. At the center of the project is a new reactor that dramatically increases the company’s annual specialty fluid production capabilities. To accommodate the manufacturing gain, storage for raw materials and finished products have also tripled in capacity.

With more improvements planned for 2018, AB Specialty Silicones continues to invest in the Waukegan, Ill. plant as well as its future in order keep up with the company’s growth as well as the increasing demand for silicone raw materials worldwide. Aside from production, the location also houses a research and development laboratory specializing in custom silicone development and over 200,000 sq. feet of warehouse space.
