He started his career with Shell in 1991, working in production and as an economic and strategic analyst.
In 1997, he joined Elf Atochem’s Petrochemicals Plastics business unit as polystyrene product manager. (Elf Atochem became Atofina in 2000, then Arkema in 2004.)
From February 2003 to June 2009, he successively held the positions of director, Solvents and Chlorinated Derivatives and director, Hydrogen Peroxide and Chlorates for Europe.
He joined the Acrylics business unit in July 2009 as director, Acrylic Monomers for Europe and Asia.
