The Financial Times recognizes Becker’s group for the fifth consecutive year.
June 1, 2026

The Financial Times has included Beckers Group among Europe’s Climate Leaders in the Chemicals & Materials category for 2026.
This is the fifth consecutive year Beckers has been recognized on the list, which has been published annually since 2021.
The 2026 recognition follows a significant year for Beckers’ climate work. The company’s near-term and net-zero climate targets were validated by the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi), establishing a science-based roadmap for emissions reduction across Scopes 1, 2 and 3.
“Since last year, our SBTi-validated targets have given us a clearer roadmap for the work ahead. The next phase will depend on collaboration across the value chain, especially on Scope 3 emissions,” said Nicklas Augustsson, Chief Sustainability Officer.
The 2025 Sustainability Report set out what that roadmap looks like in practice, including direct emissions reductions of 81% since 2019, renewable energy at 76% of operational use, and a 78% reduction in waste to landfill.
The Scope 3 challenge is now the central focus of Beckers’ climate work. As the company’s 2025 Sustainability Report made clear, the largest share of Beckers’ footprint sits in the materials and processes that come before and after its own production. Continued progress requires close collaboration with suppliers, customers and partners across the value chain.
