Bodo Möller Chemie Group and BASF SE are deepening their long-standing partnership and establishing a close collaboration in Northwest Africa. From now on, Bodo Möller Chemie will support the sales and distribution of resins and performance additives for paints, inks and coatings in Maghreb and the mainly francophone countries in the Northwest of Africa. The recently inaugurated office and warehouse in Casablanca, Morocco, will serve as a hub into the region. The main focus of the collaboration with BASF in the area is the paint, inks and coatings industry. The Bodo Möller Chemie Group and BASF have been cooperating in various product lines for many years throughout the world. “The close and long-standing partnership with BASF is based on a joint value concept of offering sustainable solutions to our customers as well as an in-depth understanding of the needs of this market. The African continent offers an enormous potential, but also requires a high level of customization. Our application know-how and BASF’s technical support and product quality constitute an ideal foundation to sustainably develop the business in Africa,” said Frank Haug chairman of the board of the Bodo Möller Chemie Group. “We are very excited about our new cooperation with Bodo Möller in Northwest Africa. The region contains a lot of growth potential in paints, inks and coatings. Together, we are looking forward to better serving our customers with strengthened technical and logistic capabilities” added Erkin Ataman, head of sales, dispersions and resins Turkey & Northwest Africa at BASF.
