For the second time since the award was introduced in 2017, HMG Paints Ltd. took home the Corporate Social Responsibility Award at the 10^th annual British Coatings Federation Awards.

Held at the Radisson Blu Hotel, East Midlands Airport, the evening saw a record number of entries for each award category with new categories launched including Apprentice of the Year in which Shannon Williams of HMG Paints Ltd was a finalist.

Corporate Social Responsibility is at the heart of HMG’s culture and the business continues to improve on efforts to support the local community and charities, involving the whole company in activities to raise vital funds and support worthwhile causes.

“We are astonished to have won this award for the second time, and against such tough competition,”  said Gracienne Ikin, digital sales and communications manager, HMG Paints Ltd. “It is great to see the industry making their mark and focusing heavily on Corporate Social Responsibility. We are humbled to be recognised above the rest in this area.”

HMG Paints Marketing Manager Stephen “Paddy” Dyson was a finalist in the Young Leader of the Year category.

Dyson, the youngest, non-family member of the Senior Management Board, has worked for HMG for nearly 16 years.

This follows the recent success of HMG Paints Ltd winning the Business of the Year at the Manchester Evening News Awards and Finance Director, Candice Brett, who was named Finance Director of the Year at the North West Finance Awards.
