IFS Coatings reaffirmed their commitment to powder coating for non-metal substrates at the Powder Coating Institute (PCI) Technical Conference. Glynn Mason, IFS Coatings president, gave a presentation covering the application, performance and sustainability advantages IFS PureClad powders deliver and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to the program. “We view powder for non-metal substrates as a core part of our business strategy and the significant investment we have made clearly demonstrates our commitment,” Mason said. “We are delighted with the progress we have made in this area and will continue to invest in expansion and development of the PureClad product range.” The desire for tough, hardworking and sustainable finishing options that also look great is clear. “We instantly recognized the potential in powder coating wood and MDF and quickly invested in powder coating capability,” said John Hamer, president of Rodgers Wade of Paris, TX. “Delivering sustainable finishes that also perform and look amazing is a powerful proposition, and we already have powder-coated wood and MDF products in production for major US retail brands.
