The Śnieżka Group has once again been recognized for its commitment to sustainable de-velopment, moving up in this year’s edition of the ESG Ranking Responsible Management 2025. In the industry ranking, the Śnieżka Group was the only representative of the Polish chemical industry to enter the top five in the Industrial and Chemical Production category.

The ESG ranking, prepared by the Kozminski University in cooperation with Deloitte and the Responsible Business Forum, has been published for 19 years and is one of the most prestigious rankings in Poland assessing business responsibility.

This year’s edition analyzed the responses provided in an extensive survey compliant with the European Reporting Standards (ESRS), verified by the Scientific Council composed of experts from Climate Leadership UNEP/GRID, Kozminski University and the Responsible Business Forum.

The ranking is based on three ESG pillars: environmental (E), social (S) and corporate governance (G), and additionally includes an analysis of materiality for a given business model.

The Śnieżka Group was also recognized in the 24th edition of the Responsible Business Forum report as the author of four good practices. The Responsible Business in Poland. The distinguished activities of the Śnieżka Group cover the areas of work, health and social involvement, and their common denominator is the pursuit of real and lasting impact – both within the organization and in its environment.

These initiatives are in line with the goals of the company’s sustainable development strategy, aimed at increasing the well-being of employees, supporting local communities, including the development of future competences and improving treatment conditions in hospital facilities.

One example of highlighted internal activities is the health prevention program, aimed primarily at employees ages 50+, who could take advantage of free tests for tumor markers, CRP and blood morphology. At the same time, as part of the Śnieżka paints the world pink campaign, female employees and partners of employees had the opportunity to undergo free breast ultrasound and mammography tests, which were used by a total of 175 women.

The nationwide program Świat w Kolorach (World in Colors), implemented by the corporate Śnieżka Foundation, was also appreciated. The initiative aims to renovate hospital wards, primarily children’s and psychiatric wards, which translates into improved treatment conditions for patients and comfort of work for medical staff.

So far, thanks to these activities, 37 wards in Poland have been renovated and painted. In 2024, nearly 1,000 square meters of the Gdańsk Day Psychiatric Rehabilitation Ward for Children was renovated, equipping it with, among other things, a Quiet Room – a space supporting children with difficulties in regulating emotions and people on the autism spectrum.

In the area of competence development, the Śnieżka Academy program was distinguished – an internal training initiative that allowed the use of the training potential of employees to transfer knowledge within the organization. In the first edition of the program, 380 people were trained as part of 48 training courses.
