PPG Making Fifth Consecutive Appearance at U.S. Diesel Truckin’ Nationals

PPG  will exhibit its wide-ranging line of coatings products at the annual U.S. Diesel Truckin’ Nationals & Motorsports Spectacular to be held Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey. This will mark PPG’s fifth consecutive appearance at the one-day show.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, the popular event presents a full day of diesel truck drag racing, a custom car and truck show and a monster truck thrill spectacle. More than 20,000 people are expected to attend.

The PPG display will feature the company’s commercial coatings products. A number of custom trucks, including several Class 8 diesel models, sporting finishes achieved using DELFLEET® Evolution coatings by PPG, will be exhibited. In addition, the PPG Show Truck, a 75-foot 2016 Freightliner Cascadia tractor-trailer rig with a radiant red, white and blue paint motif, will also be on the event grounds. The Show Truck’s unique paint job vividly demonstrates the vibrant colors, thrilling graphics and remarkable special effects that can be achieved using PPG’s commercial coatings products.

PPG representatives will be on hand to address any questions attendees may have. This year, as with last year, PPG will hold a fundraising raffle to benefit Flying Horse Farms, a nonprofit camp in Mount Gilead, Ohio, for children with serious illnesses.
