The Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) announced that Curtis Dubay, Chief Economist at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, will headline the 2025 Polyurethanes Technical Conference as keynote speaker during the opening session on October 6 in St. Louis, MO.

“We are thrilled to have Curtis Dubay bring his expertise to this year’s conference,” said Jason Sloan, Director, CPI. “His insights will be helpful to the entire value chain as companies continue to navigate a shifting and dynamic global economy.”

Dubay brings a wealth of experience and a sharp economic lens to the stage. As Chief Economist in the Economic Policy Division at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, he leads cutting-edge research on domestic and global markets, evaluates the economic impact of public policy, and chairs the Chamber’s Chief Economists Committee. His influential work has been featured in top-tier publications like The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and The Washington Post, and he’s a familiar face in Congressional hearings.

“I’m honored to join the 2025 Polyurethanes Technical Conference as keynote speaker. This is a pivotal time for the global economy, and I’m excited to share insights on where the U.S. economy currently stands, what we can expect in 2026, and how recent global and legislative developments are shaping the landscape,” Mr. Dubay said. “I look forward to engaging with attendees to help them understand these trends and explore the challenges and opportunities ahead.”

The 67th Polyurethanes Technical Conference, taking place October 6–8 at the Hyatt St. Louis at The Arch in St. Louis, Mo., will be a hub of innovation, collaboration, and discovery. This year’s agenda includes a brand-new panel discussion, 15 technical sessions, in-person professional development courses, and vibrant networking events—including the highly anticipated “Women in Polyurethanes” luncheon.
