CHICAGO, Illinois, Apr. 3, 2019. – Engineered Polymer Solutions (EPS) will present its range of acrylic emulsions designed to maximize the performance of removable and permanent pressure-sensitive adhesives at the 2019 Adhesives and Sealant Council Annual Spring EXPO, in Philadelphia, PA, on April 9, 2019.
Removable pressure-sensitive adhesive polymers
EPS offers a broad portfolio of polymers that deliver a high-strength bond for removable pressure-sensitive adhesives. These acrylic emulsions are vital components when it comes to formulating adhesives that meet performance objectives like low peel, moderate tack and high shear.
Permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive polymers
EPS® 2113
An all acrylic latex pressure-sensitive adhesive for permanent type applications and for the formulation of plasticizer-free ® pigmented caulks, as well as film-to-film lamination. By using EPS 2113, adhesives manufacturers can formulate products with broad adhesion, blush resistance and excellent clarity.
EPS® 2127
A high-solids acrylic copolymer emulsion that exhibits an excellent balance of adhesive properties and can be used in ® both tackified and non-tackified adhesive formulations. EPS® 2127 is FDA 175.105 compliant.
“The Adhesive & Sealant Council EXPO is the industry’s opportunity to connect and identify new opportunities for innovation,” said Christopher Farrell, Business Director, EPS. ”We look forward to sharing our portfolio of proprietary adhesion technology that can give these leading organizations a competitive edge.”
