DESCRIPTION Silsurf®A004-UP is a high purity, very low molecular weight ethoxylated polydimethylsiloxane. Silsurf®A004-UP is a low foaming silicone surfactant with excellent wetting and spreading capabilities. Silsurf®A004-UP has an INCI name of PEG-4 Dimethicone.
USES AND APPLICATION Silsurf®A004-UP is a super wetter and can be formulated where fast wetting is required.Silsurf®A004-UP, at a use level of 0.1%, reduces the surface tension of water to 20.0-21.0 dynes/cm and is therefore an excellent wetting and spreading agent.
Silsurf®A004-UP’s wetting properties are useful in inks & coatings, agricultural and any other applications areas where strong wetting and spreading is desired. Unlike typical super wetting agent, Silsurf®A004-UP produces very low foam. DOWNLOAD TO LEARN MORE
