DESCRIPTION Siltech®C-176 is a solution of a polyether modified polydimethyl siloxane that is primarily used to provide wetting on critical substrates. It also improves slip and gloss.
APPLICATION & USES Siltech®C-176 is used primarily in solvent-based coatings, but it is also suitable for solvent free and water-based systems. By reducing the coating’s surface tension it provides good wetting on critical substrates. In addition, it also improves slip and gloss and inhibits cratering.
