Description Siltech®C-261 is a modified silicone glycol copolymer diluted in butyl acetate. It provides leveling, substrate wetting and mar and abrasion resistance to solvent based paints, inks and coatings.
Application & Uses Siltech®C-261 is used as an additive for solvent based systems. It improves leveling, substrate wetting, mar and abrasion resistance. It also prevents floating and cratering.
It is recommended that Siltech®C-261 be used between 0.1-1.0% weight percent based on the total formulation. It can be added at any stage during the process.Siltech®C-261 is effective at very low levels and shows excellent compatibilities in solvent-based systems. DOWNLOAD TO LEARN MORE
