DESCRIPTION Siltech®C-42 is a 100% active silicone polyether copolymer that is specifically designed to improve slip, levelling, mar resistance and gloss in water-borne, solvent-borne and UV coatings systems.
APPLICATION & USES Siltech®C-42 is used in water-borne coating and UV curing systems to improve slip, levelling and gloss. It also improves mar resistance and aids in dispersing pigments. Siltech®C-42 is also compatible in solvent-borne coating system, and with most of the resins used in the coatings industry including acrylic, alkyd, polyurethane, polyester and epoxy resins.
Siltech®C-42 is 100% active and is soluble in aliphatic and aromatic solvents. Typical usage levels are between 0.05% – 2.00% wt based on total formulation. DOWNLOAD TO LEARN MORE
