Here is Coatings World’s weekly recap—the most viewed news stories on our site for the week ending Dec. 6, 2024.

This week’s two most read stories were PPG’s and American Industrial Partners’ (AIP) respective announcements of the completion of AIP’s acquisition of PPG’s architectural paint business in the US and Canada. Hexigone Inhibitors receiving three awards was third, with the announcement that Sherwin-Williams executive chairman John Morikis is set to retire fourth and a study by International showing that coatings with high lamellar glass flake extends offshore asset life rounding out the top five.
