The Powder Coating Institute (PCI) announced PCI Executive Director Kevin Coursin’s retirement as of June 15, 2025. His commitment to the powder coating industry and contributions to PCI cannot be overstated. Kevin’s role with the association began at PCI’s Powder Coating Week in February of 2020. Kevin’s steady hand and collaborative nature helped guide the association through the challenging times presented by COVID-19 and set the pace for post-pandemic recovery. Kevin leaves the association on a strong growth trajectory, with exciting initiatives on the horizon to continue PCI’s commitment of educating and promoting the powder coating industry. “It has been a privilege to serve this remarkable industry,” said Kevin. “I depart with deep gratitude and strong confidence in its future. The friendships I’ve formed along the way are ones I will always value and carry with me.”
While an executive search is underway for a permanent replacement, Troy Newport, who has served as publisher of PCI’s trade publication Powder Coated Tough since 2016, will act as interim executive director.
