The Ecological and Toxicological Association of Dyes and Organic Pigments Manufacturers (ETAD) is an international organization of companies across the globe. ETAD was founded in 1974 to represent the interests of its member companies on matters relating to health and the environment. Based in Basel, Switzerland, the organization is collectively working towards:

•   Harmonization of health and environment regulations related to colorant industry

•  Mobilize efforts on environmental and workplace protection

•   Propagating self-regulation for industry & member companies thereby reducing regulatory pressures

•   Representation and advocacy for member companies.
