Liquid Nails brand has enhanced its Heavy Duty construction adhesive formula. Liquid Nails Extreme Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive performs in extreme conditions, bonding in temperatures from 22°F to 120°F. This enables professional contractors and avid DIYers to work in the extreme heat or cold and get their jobs done regardless of the weather. “Pros can’t afford downtime due to extreme heat or cold,” said Mark Hembree, senior brand manager for the Liquid Nails brand. “This formula is made to work all year with the performance and adhesion they expect from the Liquid Nails brand name.” Liquid Nails Extreme Heavy Duty adhesive is a latex-based construction adhesive designed to provide long-lasting adhesion on a wide range of applications. Extreme Heavy Duty adhesive is certified by UL Environment to the GREENGUARD Gold standard as a low emitting material, making it ideal for use indoors as well as outdoors. It will help builders qualify their projects for certification under the LEED green building program, including LEED v.4 certification, of the U.S. Green Building Council. UL Environment’s ECOLOGO Certification is based on multi-attribute, lifecycle based standards. All products certified to an ECOLOGO standard must meet or exceed each of the listed criteria before receiving the mark. ECOLOGO Certification is classified as an ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Type 1 ecolabel and has been successfully assessed by the Global Ecolabeling Network. Additionally, Extreme Heavy Duty adhesive features a plastic tube for outdoor storage. For professionals who often store their materials in their exposed truck, this can save time and worry compared to traditional adhesives. This new product can be found in Lowe’s and The Home Depot locations throughout the United States. For more than 40 years, Liquid Nails brand adhesive has been the most recognized brand of construction adhesives and caulks providing maximum performance bonding a variety of materials for professional contractors and DIYers, the compnay stated. Liquid Nails brand adhesives are products of PPG Industries, Inc.
