Four “Paint Pioneers” were honored at the Metro New York Coatings Association’s annual Holiday Party, which took place Dec. 6 at Iberia Tavern & Restaurant in Newark, NJ.
James Will, senior chemist for Troy Corporation’s performance additives group, was recognized for his 40 years of industry service.
From 1975-1989, he conducted experiments using MEI zirconium compounds in paint dryer applications. He began his career as a sales associate for Buten Paints (Doylestown, Pa.) in 1974. He’s worked for Pfizer Corporation, Elementis Specialties and BASF.

The Rider University grad joined Troy in March.
