Founded in 1926, Diamond Vogel provides coating solutions throughout North America to the industrial, architectural, industrial wood, aerosol, traffic, and toll manufacturing markets. The Orange City, IA company manufactures liquid and powder coatings sold under the brand names of Diamond Vogel, Old Masters, Van Sickle, Precision Color, Quest, Raabe, and Z-Line. Diamond Vogel operates a network of nine manufacturing facilities, shipping coatings throughout North America, and 40 company-owned stores in 10 Midwestern states.
In April 2023, Diamond Vogel acquired an aerosol and touch-up solution manufacturing facility located in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, from Sherwin Williams. The location employs approximately 100 people and manufactures color-match touch-up paint, custom aerosol, and other specialty coatings.
In September 2023, Diamond Vogel had a ribbon-cutting ceremony, opening their Innovation Center on their corporate campus in Orange City, IA. The Innovation Center adds 36,000 square feet of state-of-the-art laboratory and office space.
Among the new products Diamond Vogel introduced this year are Diamond Vogel Artistry Latex Enamel and Old Masters Professional Apex HPP Interior Water-Based Clear Finishes.
