Headquartered in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Sinteplast is a privately held paint and coatings leader, specializing in architectural, industrial, powder and automotive refinish coatings. Sinteplast reports $309 million in sales in 2024, with architectural/decorative contributing 74%. Industrial coatings made up 11% of the revenue, followed by powder coatings (9%) and automotive refinish (7%).
Sinteplast has 13 facilities worldwide, and more than 1,500 employees. The company has coating factories in Buenos Aires and San Luis, Argentina; Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Curitiba, Brazil; and one plant each in Uruguay, Bolivia and Paraguay.
Sinteplast’s main brands include Recuplast, Hidroesmalte, and Foresta architectural coatings; Sinteplast Construction; Induplast and Duraesmal industrial coatings; and Trimas automotive refinish. Sinteplast recently added Penetrit, an Argentine company focusing on lubricants, and Automotivos 2001, a Brazilian company specializing in automotive paint.
