In March, the 3Trees Elite Building, designed by the Space Design Department of 3Trees Group and Studio HBA, won two design awards in succession before its official opening: the Golden Diamond Award of the 2021-2022 International Environmental Art Innovation Design Competition (Huading Award) and the First Prize of the Decoration World Cup China Decorative Art Design Competition (Hotel Space Engineering Category).
The Huading Award is a general term for the annual China Environmental Art Innovation Design Competition. It is one of the most important design competitions held during the previous CIIE and is also the most popular brand award in the industry. This award aims to establish a model for Chinese design and is currently the most influential and authoritative industry award in China.

The 3TREES Elite Building has a usable area of 25,880 square meters. It took seven years to build, and the interior design took one and a half years to complete. In order to introduce the beautiful natural scenery into the interior of the Elite Building and closely follow the 3TREES corporate culture of "Tao follows nature," the design team applied the natural themes of water, wood, soil, light, and leaves to different space designs, echoing the spirit of the big tree born from nature.
In terms of construction material selection, the 3TREES Elite Building fully continues the 3TREES brand concept of "healthy, natural, and green," ensuring greener and lower carbon in every detail. In order to create an ecological, green, low-carbon, sustainable symbiotic space and achieve a balance between nature and art, 3TREES products accounted for more than 80% of the design, including artistic paint, Komori board, floor paint, seam beautifier, formaldehyde-free rock wool, waterproof, silicone adhesive-based auxiliary materials and other green seven-in-one products.
The walls are painted with 3TREES’ characteristic artistic texture paint, imitation stone paint, imitation metal paint, high-end artistic paint and imitation glaze paint. The wood veneer and floor are made of 3TREES Komori board, matched with imported stone, white copper, resin glass, glass bricks and other high-end and fashionable materials. The entire building uses 3TREES’ high-tech new materials to replace traditional materials such as stone, ceramic tiles, wallpaper, etc., which is greener, lower carbon and lower cost, realizing the application of sustainable design, reflecting 3TREES’ concept of green environmental protection, energy saving and low carbon, and inheriting 3TREES’ green gene.
