D.B. Becker, a Maroon Group LLC company, announced the appointment of Dan Giles to the position of account manager, covering CASE accounts in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
For more than 20 years, Giles has served the coatings industry in various roles from a paint formulator to a resin specialist to salesman with titles of chemist, applications manager, and technical sales. Most recently, Giles worked as a technical application manager at DSM and specialized in architectural and floor coatings. He earned a BS in polymer science from Southern Mississippi and corroborated on four published technical papers.
“Dan is an excellent fit to our team,” Mike Maginnis, Southeast regional sales manager, said. “He has great credentials and has worked in formulating and in servicing most every polymer type in the coatings industry.”
