paints will be more widely available to DIY customers at locally-owned Ace Hardware
stores across the country, the companies jointly announced.
Ace Hardware named Benjamin Moore its preferred paint supplier and will offer an assortment of Benjamin Moore paints to participating Ace stores in the U.S. by Spring 2020.
“Since 2005, Benjamin Moore and Ace Hardware have worked together to service the DIY customer through the hardware segment. Expanding our relationship with Ace furthers our legacy commitment to the independent retail channel, while broadening access to Benjamin Moore for paint customers,” Benjamin Moore Chairman and CEO Dan Calkins said. “We look forward to continuing to offer the personalized service and industry expertise that consumers have come to expect from both Benjamin Moore and Ace Hardware.”
Ace Hardware stores will carry an assortment of premium interior and exterior Benjamin Moore paints, notably Regal Select and ben. Benjamin Moore will also assume responsibility for manufacturing Clark+Kensington and Royal, Ace Hardware’s private label paint brands.
