The Eastern Coatings Federation has announced the topic of its panel discussion will be “Investing Financial & Intellectual Capital in An Ever-Changing Market,” which will be held on May 14, 2025 during the Eastern Coatings Show, the largest coatings show on the East Coast.

Today’s fast-paced world makes it increasingly difficult to make educated decisions about where companies should invest their capital, both financial and intellectual. Three industry experts from the scientific and legal communities will explore common pitfalls to be aware of and techniques to mitigate these risks. The panel will focus on areas that include opportunity discovery, risks, and the protection of intellectual property.
The panelists include George R. Pilcher, VP at The ChemQuest Group; Daniel Pickard, international trade & national security practice group leader at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney; and Dr. David Witker, senior scientist focused on IP at Benjamin Moore.
“The experts on the panel bring perspectives from across the industry, which will really benefit those that attend,” said Chuck Jones, president of the ECF. “The topic is very timely and relevant to all commercial and technical roles in the coatings value chain.”
