BASF has appointed Juan Carlos Ordonez group vice president, coatings, in North America. He is based in Southfield, MI. Ordonez joined BASF South America in 1982. Since then he has served in a variety of management roles with increasing responsibility in North America, South America and at global BASF headquarters in Ludwigshafen, Germany. Most recently, Ordonez served as vice president responsible for BASF automotive refinish and industrial coatings in North America.
