FSCT Holds Two-Day
SHort Course at ICE
The Federation of Societies for Coatings Technology (FSCT) is offering a two day short course “Guidelines for Coating Formulations,” before this year’s International Coatings Expo (ICE). To be held Oct. 31-Nov. 1 at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA, the program focuses on the many components that are part of modern coatings and how they interact. Insights into the best formulation methods for enhancing coatings performance are provided. Topics covered include types of pigments and how to best utilize them, how to control properties and performance with additives, typical industrial maintenance coatings systems, criteria for architectural coatings formulations, test methods and property relationships.
Registration for this preshow short course includes course handouts, ICE 2006 conference bag, and full admittance to the ICE 2006 Expo, to be held on November 1-3. Advance registration rates, available through September 29, are $595 for FSCT members and $745 for non-mem
