MICROSPERSION HT is a unique aqueous dispersion of finely micronized PTFE which have been dispersed at 50% solids. MICROSPERSION HT allows the formulator to use highly efficient and carefully controlled micronized PTFE in liquid form.
MICROSPERSION HT has been formulated to be used in aqueous systems where excellent heat resistance, gloss and slip are required. MICROSPERSION HT is designed to provide properties for maximum performance when incorporated into printing inks, paints and coatings.
Additions of 0.5 – 1.0% (by weight) of MICROSPERSION HT will provide optimum performance.
MICROSPERSION HT is recommended for use in the following areas: water based flexographic, gravure and metal decorating printing inks, can coatings, industrial paints or finishes and all types of water reducible overprint varnishes or topcoats.
At temperatures above 600°F some polymer fumes may be emitted due to decomposition of the fluorocarbon polymer. Therefore, smoking should not be permitted when working with this material.
