Joint venture will specialize in the manufacture and distribution of oxidized wax.
EDO Waxes, a subsidiary of Shamrock Technologies, and South Carolina Polymer Group (SCPG) announce a joint venture to specialize in the manufacture and distribution of oxidized wax.
The newly formed company, NeuWax, will be headquartered in Cowpens, SC.
The NeuWax joint venture will manufacture and oxidize specialty high-density polyethylene waxes. Key applications include emulsions, graphic arts/OPV, plastic processing, metal coatings and release agents, as well as textile and floor finishes.
Jeff Wardat, president of NeuWax, says, “With our partner’s analytical knowledge of the micronized wax and emulsions markets, and with SCPG’s wax manufacturing expertise, NeuWax is poised to become a key player in oxidized wax. Our combined innovation and R&D capabilities lay the groundwork to allow us to expand our offerings to new markets in the future.”
Shamrock Technologies and NeuWax will be exhibiting jointly at the American Coatings Show in Indianapolis, from April 29 to May 2, at Booth #554.
