Cabot has launched a new product – MAJESTIC 710 specialty carbon black, which is suitable for use in water-based systems and helps improve color performance with low formulation complexity.

This includes reducing or eliminating the pre-dispersion milling process, which helps lower equipment and maintenance costs as well as enables higher production throughput for customers that are looking for more sustainable color solutions.

MAJESTIC 710 specialty carbon black enables equivalent or improved jetness relative to black pigments with similar morphology. It is suitable for use in masstone and tinting applications for waterborne formulations with diverse applications, including concrete coloration, colored coatings for plastics and composite surfaces, tile grout, flexography and gravure ink pigment, adhesive color and black mulch color.
