Brand Description

Whitford was founded in 1969 to promote special “matrix” release coatings to the industrial market. Whitford moved into the expanding nonstick markets of cookware and bakeware. A few years after opening, Whitford went internaional with an office/factory in England. Today Whitford has ten factories in eight countries, with sales offices in many more. The majority of Whitford’s business is outside the U.S. In 1999, Whitford purchased HP Polymers of Guelph, Canada, producers of special resins. In 2009, Whitford bought AkzoNobel Nonstick Coatings.
