AIR PRODUCTS APPOINTS
SHERIDAN CHIEF RISK OFFICER
Air Products has appointed Diane L.
Sheridan to the
position of chief
risk officer. In this
new position, she
will be responsible
for developing risk
evaluation quantification,
measurements
and coordinating
compliance
activities with
global laws and regulations. This position
will cover the compliance areas of
commerce, foreign trade, finance,
employment, competition and environment,
health and safety.
Sheridan joined Air Products in
1984 as an attorney in the company’s
law department. In 1992 she was
named director of the corporate real
estate department, and in 1995
became director of real estate and
property management. She was
named director of gases and equipment
supply for the energy and materials
division in 1997, and appointed
vice president, energy and materials
in 1999, in which she was responsible
for the company’s $3.5 billion of purchased
goods and services.
