Dow to Build Chemical Plant in China

The Dow Chemical Company is set to build a chemical plant in Zhangjiagang in the Jiangsu Province of China. The plant will produce oxide-based glycol ethers used in paint, coatings, ink and cleaning products. It is scheduled to begin operating in late 2008, the company said. Dow currently has three other facilities in Zhangjiagang.
