PPG has opened Alltech Engineered Finishes in Taiwan to serve the existing regional customers.

The plant is PPG's first wholly-owned, self-contained coating application facility that utilizes PPG's electrocoat and dip-spin coatings that would be used by the fastener and small parts industry.

The plant located in Hsiao Kang District of Kaohsiung is equipped to coat parts for construction, industrial, electronics and automotive applications.

"We're adding premium coating support in the region for the world-leading Taiwanese high-quality fastener manufacturing and small parts industry," said William Wulfsohn, senior vice president.
