Tikkurila’s revenue in the second quarter rose by nine percent to €205.7 million ($188.7). Sales development was high in most markets both in decorative paints and industrial coatings. The slowdown in new construction and the decrease in sales of construction material in the Baltic affected the growth of Tikkurila in that region. Operating profit in the second quarter amounted to €29.7 million ($27.3), an increase of nine percent.
