Valspar launches the De Beer WaterBase 900+ Series

Published November 3, 2011
Valspar Automotive has introduced the latest addition to their waterborne refinish product platform with the De Beer WaterBase 900+ series. This new system features 13 additional mixing colors that have higher coverage and require fewer undercoats than the current system, providing increased productivity and cost savings to the body shop, while meeting global VOC compliance regulations said the company. Body shops can achieve a 20 percent increase in coverage versus the current 900 system and experience up to an additional 10 percent in savings. The current De Beer WaterBase 900 series toners will still be supported and maintained until the 900+ technology fully transitions into the remaining mixing colors. This system complements Valspar Automotive’s existing line of products, such as the Valspar Refinish Low VOC system and the House of Kolor Shimrin2 Low VOC custom finishing product line, that are geared towards meeting air quality standards.
