Advenira Enterprises, Inc., a developer of Solution Derived Nanocomposite (SDNTM) coating technology, is this month presenting findings from its novel F1A12 protective coating at two major corrosion events: NACE Western Area Conference and CORCON 2014.
Jeff Dawley, Director of Metrology and Applications at Advenira, is delivering a speech this week at the NACE Western Area Conference in Seattle, Washington about the company’s superior corrosion protection and abrasion protection by F1A12. The protective coating has outperformed its competition in some tests by 100x, and has demonstrated exceptional corrosion and wear resistance on ferrous and non-ferrous metals -- making it a good replacement of toxic and carcinogenic conversion coatings.
Dr. Elmira Ryabova, CEO/CTO at Advenira and environmentalist, is presenting key findings of F1A12’s economic and environmental advancements at CORCON 2014 next week in Mumbai, India. The protective coating eliminates Cr- and Ni- plating and reduces the long-term environmental impact through lower energy consumption and waste generation; and it creates economic advantages through stronger durability and increased longevity.
"As an environmentalist, I believe in providing the best quality products that not only reduce our carbon footprint today, but that increase the longevity of the products we coat to reduce their footprint in the future,” Dr. Ryabova says.
Advenira’s protective coatings can be deposited on aluminum, cold rolled steel, stainless steel and similar metals, and leave excellent corrosion resistance without the use of toxic chromates or other hazardous chemicals. The coatings are low cost, high throughput, multifunctional and environmentally friendly.
