Axalta Coating Systems, a leading manufacturer of liquid and powder coatings, showcased its leadership in coating and color technologies at the annual Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) tradeshow in Las Vegas, Nevada but the heartfelt story is how the giving will continue after the event. Custom Pinstripers Paul Quinn and Danny Taylor used Axalta’s brilliant paint colors to demonstrate their pinstriping mastery at the Axalta Engineered for Speed booth. The eight different artwork pieces will be auctioned off at the Collision Industry Foundation (CIF) fundraising gala and the annual National Auto Body Council industry (NABC) golf outing early next year.
“Companies like Axalta have made it possible for CIF to support collision repair professionals who have lost their livelihoods,” said Cheryl Boswell, CIF Treasurer. “CIF will sell raffle tickets for the original artwork on January 15, 2015 during the annual gala in Palm Springs, CA. Thank you, Axalta, for your generosity in supporting CIF and our industry.“
"NABC depends on its members and sponsors for funding, which is used in promoting the professionalism and integrity that exists in the collision repair industry,” explained Nick Notte, NABC President. “We would like to thank Axalta for its many contributions to our cause, and for providing this donation. We also appreciate Axalta’s wonderful employees who work tirelessly on our board and committees.”
The artwork will be auctioned off on January 14, 2015 at Taquitz Creek Golf Course in Palm Springs, California during the annual NABC golf outing.
