Sika Automotive announces the following North America personnel appointments:
Mr. John Beckwith joins Sika as Application Engineer - Structural Technology, reporting to Ray Helferty, Engineering Group Manager. Beckwith will focus in new technology development, project launch, and customer support assistance in the Structures and Reinforcing Technology group. Beckwith is degreed from State University of New York and holds multiple design patents, either directly or in part for his extensive work in automotive body hardware supply and design. Beckwith joins Sika with 10 years’ experience at GM and 15 years with the Connelly Group as a direct supplier of body hardware to Automotive OEM’s.
Mr. Chris Groesser is appointed as Global Key Account Manager – Ford, reporting to Ralph Horster, Head Global Automotive Sales. Groesser will focus on all facets of serving Ford Motor requirements on a global basis. Groesser returns to Sika after many years from ABB (automation equipment / robotics) as their Global Key Account Manager, Ford. Prior to ABB he managed the Ford account at L&L products over 15 years, serving the acoustic baffle and structural insert business. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Materials and Logistics Management from Michigan State University, and an MBA from Wayne State.
Mr. Marc King joins as Senior Program Manager – Acoustics Technology in the Region NA reporting to Larry LaNore Engineering Group Manager. King will focus in new technology development, project launch, and customer support within the Acoustics Technology Group. King brings to the position experience in sealing technologies over 9 years at Henkel North America and 8 years at Orbseal, LLC, working in body shop and paint sealing tapes; both in program management positions.
Mr. Matthew Rosiar joins as Business Analyst, reporting directly to Peter Luescher, Head Global Automotive Finance & Controlling. Rosiar holds a B.S. in Finance from Michigan State University, and worked prior for IBM in Global Process Services.
All are located at the Madison Heights, Michigan, Campus.
Mr. Gary Cole joins Sika at the Grandview, Missouri Operations as Quality Assurance Manager reporting to Cedric Gray, Vice President of Operations. Cole joins Sika from Machine Laboratory where he functioned as Quality Assurance Manager, serving the Tier II quality program to meet ISO9001/TS16949 requirements, and lead teams in preventive and corrective action programs to ensure continuous improvement. Cole held similar positions prior at EC Manufacturing, CH Guenther and Caravan Ingredients.
Mr. David Irvin joins in Grandview, Missouri as Customer Quality Engineer reporting to Justin Webb, New Domestics Quality Engineer. Irvin comes to Sika from Triumph Structures where he was a Quality Engineer providing support to the manufacturing and engineering groups, and responsible to ensure customer expectations were met.
