Chromaflo Technologies will present a broad product portfolio for the polyurethane industry at CPI, September 26-28, 2016. Chromaflo will introduce the DTP colorant line, a non-phthalate plasticizer tinting system to enable customers to create new colors on demand as well as feature our global presence, high-strength blacks and wide range of chemistries/carriers.
Plasticolors DTP colorants consist of organic and inorganic pigments stabilized in DOTP, a non-phthalate plasticizer. Chromaflo Technologies’ DTP colorants have been specifically developed for soft PVC, caulk/sealant, thermoplastic, urethane and elastomer applications. With a colorant file database included, the DTP line offers our customers a market first technology that provides the ability to promote an array of colors and the autonomy to easily match custom colors.
Chromaflo's black colorant technology utilizes a high strength carbon black at impressive loadings delivering a strong, rich black in the final product. This combination of carbon black technology and loading reduces the amount of colorant required to achieve the desired color in urethane applications. Furthermore, Chromaflo’s black colorant technology was designed with our customer’s processes in mind. With a viscosity under 5000cps, it is easy to handle and can be pumped or metered.
