For the second consecutive year, BASF has been named to the Forbes list of America’s Best Employers for Women. The annual rankings recognize companies like BASF that are leading the way in supporting women inside and outside the workforce. Among the 400 companies named to the list, BASF ranks 59.
The Best Employers for Women rankings were compiled through an independent survey of more than 60,000 employees at companies with at least 1,000 employees based in the United States. More than 40,000 women participated in the survey which evaluated companies on a range of criteria including diversity, pay equity, flexibility and parental leave, among others. Companies were also evaluated on the representation of women in executive management positions.
“This recognition symbolizes BASF’s steadfast commitment to being a great place to work for women, and for all who want to work in a dynamic and engaging environment,” said Krisanne Pook, Vice President, People Services at BASF Corporation. “It’s important that BASF continues to provide an environment where our people can thrive, feel included and connected in driving innovation for our customers.”
