Two exciting events mark the global calendar of the coatings industry in October 2023. From Oct. 9-11, the Gulf Coatings Show will kick off for the second time in Sharjah, UAE. Only one week later, from Oct. 18-20, the Pacific Coatings Show will celebrate its premiere in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Both events adapt the concept of the world's leading European Coatings Show. Focus is on high quality content, knowledge exchange and networking within the coatings industries of the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Leading international companies complement the comprehensive, sophisticated conference and business program, in each case supported by the leading national industry associations.
Market participants in the coatings industry in Southeast Asia can look forward to a great start of a market platform specially designed for Asia Pacific from this year. The Pacific Coatings Show will be held for the first time at the Jakarta International Expo. Driven by the desire of leading companies, a comprehensive range of networking opportunities and knowledge exchange of the highest quality will be established from the start.
"We would like to thank APIC for their great cooperation. This strategic partnership amplifies
the reach of the Pacific Coatings Show, ensuring that we bring together the entire Southeast Asian coatings ecosystem under one roof,” said Damir Gagro, editor-in-chief at Vincentz Network.
"Also at the Pacific Coatings Show we follow the approach of 'content leadership' and 'real added value', which expresses that our events should be characterized by high content quality in the fields of R&D and innovations. The Pacific Coatings Show succeeds in this from the very beginning," added Thimo Holst, NürnbergMesse.
Industry leaders such as Colorindo Chemtra, Ceronas, Allnex, Ystral, Wilhelm Niemann and VMA Getzmann define the landscape of exhibitors.
"It's about topics such as water- borne coatings, bio-based production formulation, the use of titanium dioxide, all of which ultimately contribute to the overriding issue of sustainable production,” said Matthias Janz, director trade shows at Vincentz Network.
In more than 20 technical presentations and short courses, visitors will have the opportunity to take away new impulses and knowledge. The opportunity for direct exchange with suppliers rounds off the trade fair visit.
Visiting the Pacific Coatings Show and participating in the accompanying program is free of charge. Tickets can be obtained here: https://www.pacific-coatings-show.com/register-to-visit

Synchronisation with the Annual Meeting of the Asian Paint Industry Council
The annual meeting of the Asian Paint Industry Council (APIC) will be held in Jakarta at the same time and in close coordination with the Pacific Coatings Show. Delegates from all the respective industry associations of the Southeast Asian countries will be taking part in the supporting program, so that participants at the show can be sure to meet decision-makers from the coatings industry."We would like to thank APIC for their great cooperation.
