COTY  R&D, located in Morris Plains, NJ, seeks a chemist with 2-4 years formulation experience in nail lacquer, coatings, printing ink, paint or related industry. Responsibilities include: prepare and conduct product stability testing, identify and resolve stability issues, ensure regulatory compliance for products,work closely with marketing and product integrity department to develop product claims, prepare technical data sheets for new products based on requirements from marketing,work closely with category and marketing teams to identify nail category needs, actively search for raw materials and technologies from other industries, and independently manage projects from development through production and prepare product dossiers. Qualifcations include bachelors degree in chemistry and/or advanced degree in polymer chemistry or similar discipline, strong computer skills,self-starter,strong oral and written communication, strong team player,creativity, good eye for color, ability to multi-task and manage multiple and shifting priorities.
