Job Purpose:
- Professional sales, customer maintenance and territory development to drive profitable growth in key products and end-user markets based on a professional sales processes.
- Maintaining and developing excellent customer relationships in CASE, Masterbatch and Thermo Plastic Compounders that will foster quick account penetration and establishment of Maroon as a valued supplier to these companies.
- Ability to sell based on FAB’s (Features, Advantages, Benefits), understands market pricing, competitive landscape and has demonstrated the ability to close business.
- Experience selling specialty chemicals to the Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants and Elastomers (CASE) and Plastics Industries.
- Region(s): Northern Illinois, Northern Indiana, Southern Michigan.
Desired Skills and Expertise:
- 5 years minimum Technical Sales, technical services, Product Management and/or Lab experience.
- Chemical Industry, Specialty Chemicals, Specialty Additives, Polymer Additives Sales experience, Raw Materials supplier to CASE and Plastics Markets.
- Demonstrated success as a Sales professional and/or Applications Specialist participating in sales teams to profitably grow product sales.
- Technical degree preferred.
- Professional Sales Training.
- Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and Quality Systems training preferred.
- Leadership in a facets of the position.
- Ability to work in a team environment, prioritize work assignments and act independently.
- Act legally and ethically in all professional relationships in adherence with Maroon culture and values statements.
