Key Responsibilities:
- Service the targeted customer base in a way that profitably anticipates and satisfies its needs.
- Build and maintain key strategic relationships.
- Convert new business/opportunities into year-over-year profit improvement.
- Work within teams to explore and execute new business/market opportunities/strategies.
- Develop and maintain a list of key profit improvement strategies that connect well informed points of view to tactics that leverage competitive advantage.
- Provide input for pricing strategy development and profitable deployment.
- Prioritize the organization’s resources consistent with Business Unit objectives.
- Proactively communicate to keep key personnel abreast of relevant activities.
- Apply continuous improvement to the sales process to improve business execution and results.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ of experience in direct sales account management or marketing in the chemical protective coatings industry.
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, & Outlook).
- Willing to travel 50-60% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience in new business development.
- Experience in marketing.
