MICROSPERSION 215-50 is composed of a unique micronized oxidized polyethylene wax which has been modified for easy incorporation in aqueous systems and formulated into an stable aqueous wax dispersion at 50% solids. MICROSPERSION 215-50 allows the formulator to use a highly efficient micronized wax in liquid form.

MICROSPERSION 215-50 has been formulated to provide improved slip, rub and mar resistance, as well as antiblocking properties when incorporated into aqueous printing inks, paints and coatings. The unique properties of MICROSPERSION 215-50 eliminate the problem of "flotation" or "defoamer kickout" that is common when using other types of wax dispersions.

MICROSPERSION 215-50 addition levels of 1.0% - 4.0%* of will provide desired performance.

MICROSPERSION 215-50 is recommended for use in the following applications:

Water reducible flexographic (paper or film), packaging gravure (paper or carton) and publication gravure printing inks; water reducible wood finishes, coil coatings, industrial finishes and latex paints; aqueous coatings for offset printed folded cartons of paper (Dahlgren, Epic, etc.); aqueous overprint varnishes.
