SUPERSLIP 6525 is a unique economical combination of wax polymers designed to impart maximum lubricity (COF) and blocking resistance in printing ink, paint or coating applications. SUPERSLIP 6525 has a high melt point to provide extra heat resistance while imparting slip.
SUPERSLIP 6525 is finely micronized to a NPIRI grind of 2.0-3.5 for ease of dispersion.
SUPERSLIP 6525 was developed to meet the needs of the formulator requiring excellent lubricity properties without incurring the expense or settling characteristics of PTFE.
SUPERSLIP 6525 will impart an excellent "feel" when incorporated into wood coatings while maintaining excellent blocking resistance. SUPERSLIP 6525 will exhibit excellent solvent resistance and will not effect drying rates of air dry systems. SUPERSLIP 6525 can be easily incorporated using simple dispersion equipment without the need for grinding.
Optimum usage levels range between 0.5 and 3.0 percent based on total formula weight.
