Dow Epoxy to expand LER capacity in Stade, Germany

Ten percent additional capacity to come online at end of 2012.

Dow Epoxy is set to expand liquid epoxy resin (LER) capacity at its plant in Stade, Germany. This expansion will provide additional capacity by the fourth quarter of 2012, and will increase capacity by 30 KTA, a 10 percent increase in the company’s global LER capacity. The new capacity will be used to keep pace with expected market growth in specialty applications, while also supporting geographic growth throughout Europe, the Middle East, China and India.
